I have a wide range of images that work well as Christmas Cards. Photographs and artwork featuring classic scenes from around New England – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Jenne Farm is one of the most photographed icons of Vermont. Did you know? In the movie Forrest Gump, Forest runs by the farm on his cross country run. Check out the movie clip – the scene is in the fall and the camera shoots from the field and follows Forest along the road.
Another popular Christmas Card image from my portfolio is the stone chapel on the Van Trapp’s (yes! the same ones from The Song of Music) resort property in Stowe Vermont.
On a hillside behind the family home, von Trapp built a stone chapel in thanksgiving for his safe return from wartime service.
We just saw Pink Martini at the Dartmouth HOP arts center and their new album features a local connection with the Von Trapp singers. Speaking of Dartmouth, alumi would appreciate this image as a Christmas card:
Just outside Hanover and the Dartmouth College campus is the section of town known as Etna. Think of Etna as the rural part of Hanover with rolling hills, mountains, red barns and farms.
Another popular Christmas appropriate image, this time from the Stowe Vermont area featuring a snowstorm and a horse on a farm.
Or this one from the city of Manchester, NH.
Or this vintage tractor in the snow from the Upper Valley region.
Or this old pickup truck from the Woodstock, Quechee area.
