Flower photography is popular. Who doesn’t like to take photographs of bright colorful flowers? After all, flowers are a universally liked subject and one that is readily available to any “budding” photographer.
When I purchased my first digital camera, the first thing I tested it out on was flowers in the garden. Colorful flowers are a subject that rarely runs and hides from the camera. Easier to capture then uncooperative dogs or active children.
But since flowers are such a popular subject for photographers, one must strive to take their flower photography to the next level to stand out from the pack. Here are some examples of what I consider exceptional flower photographs from the portfolio of award-wining photographer Edward Fielding.
Fine art prints, frame and matted art prints, canvas prints, metal prints and more are available.
