Friday Night Cocktail: Maple-Bourbon Cider

Around here we get our Apple Cider right from the source, at the local apple orchards. This Friday Night Cocktail features our all time favorite spirit, bourbon as well as our favorite food substance made from tree sap, another local product – maple syrup.

Probably the only non-Vermont/New Hampshire Upper Valley ingredient is the lemon juice and the cayenne pepper. Make one tonight!

  • Ice
  • 6 ounces of Bourbon
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • Cayenne pepper

Fill four glasses and a cocktail shaker with ice. Add ingredients to shaker and shake baby shake. Strain into glasses and add a pinch of cayenne pepper if desired.
