I’ve been slowly making my home smarter. I’d added security cameras, smart plugs and even themometers to keep tabs on my home and control lights and applicances.
My security cameras are from an Amazon company – Blink. They offer affordable cameras without a lot of added costs like storage plans.
For a lot of other smart devices, via online reviews and a bit by chance I came across the products made by a company called Govee. They have a wide range of smart products electric tea kettles to air purifiers to smart plugs and smart lights.
I like being brand loyal to Govee for a couple of reasons. First because their products simply work, second they setup very easily in a minute or so and third they have an app that shows you all of their products. By sticking to one brand it’s easy to control all of your devices from a single app. No need to learn a bunch of different apps.
Set up of the themoetor/humdifier app for example is as easy as turning on your phone, opening the Govee app, pulling out the battery tab and following a few instructions. Viola! A few minutes later the new sensor is part of your smart home.
