Good, unique and compelling photographs are typically not found by simply walking up to a scene, snapping a shot and walking away.
Seasoned photographers learn to “work the scene”, spending time looking at the subject from all angles. Framing shots from up high, low – from different angles to explore the scene fully and the come back with an interesting photograph.
Various lens are used to capture and create the photographer’s vision of the place. A photographer may return several times over several years at different seasons to get unique shots of a familiar place.
