If I say “Cape Cod” what is the first image that pops into your head? Sand beaches? Lighthouses? Ice cream? Fried clams? The Kennedys?
I doubt you’d think of an abandoned old train car but that is what I found exploring around Cape Cod. https://edward-fielding.pixels.com/featured/old-abandoned-railroad-passenger-car-cape-cod-edward-fielding.html
I doubt most vacationers on Cape Cod go looking for offbeat, old relics from the past as they drive down Route 6 to their rental cottages or hotels but I’ve searched high and lo and found some unusual things to photograph on Cape Cod.
How about a rusty old steel fishing boat high and dry against the breakwater in Provincetown?
Or how about an old abandoned beach club?
Or a shack among the sand dunes?
